Homework

Homework app for schools, teachers and parents

Classveew lets teachers set homework for their classes with tasks and files, lets families hand it in from home, and gives every task a score and feedback. Parents are notified when homework is set and when results are ready.

Teachers work on the web or in the app. Parents use the Classveew app on iOS and Android or the web.

  • Parents hand in work for their child in the Classveew app or on the web.
  • Students can also hand in through their own web login.
  • Upload PDFs, photos, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or audio files, or take a photo in the app.
  • Each task shows what is due, the files from the teacher and the due date.
  • Scores and feedback appear for each task once the teacher releases them.

Everything you need to set and mark homework

From the first task to the released score, in one place teachers, parents and students share.

Homework for every class

Pick the classroom and subject, a start date and a due date. Teachers set homework for the classes they teach.

Tasks with files

Split homework into tasks, each with instructions and files up to 100 MB. Teachers can snap a photo in the app.

Publish now or later

Publish straight away, or let Classveew publish it automatically on the start date.

Hand in from home

Parents hand in work in the app or on the web, and students can use their own web login.

Clear due dates

Hand-in closes after the due date. Optionally allow three more days, with the work marked Late.

Scores and feedback

Give a score out of 100 and a comment for each task, then release the results when every student is marked.

See who has handed in

For each task, filter students by submitted, not submitted and graded, with a progress summary on the web.

Alerts and discussion

Parents get a push notification for new homework and for results, and can talk to the teacher in a discussion thread.

Homework questions

Who can set homework?

Admins can set homework for any class on the web portal. Teachers can set homework for the classes and subjects they teach, on the web or in the Classveew teacher app.

What are the three homework types?

Information only, for reading or notices that need no answer. Feedback only, where students hand in work and the teacher replies with a comment. Graded, where the teacher gives a score out of 100 and optional feedback for each task.

How do students hand in homework?

Parents hand it in for their child in the Classveew app or on the web, and students can also use their own web login. They upload files or photos for each task: PDF, JPG, PNG, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or MP3, up to 100 MB per task. In the app they can take a photo with the camera.

What happens after the due date?

Hand-in closes after the due date. If the school allows late work, students have three more days and their work is marked Late.

Are parents notified?

Yes. Parents get a push notification in their language when new homework is published and when results are released. Each homework also has a discussion thread where parents and the teacher can talk about it.

Can homework be published later?

Yes. Publish it straight away, or mark it ready and Classveew publishes it automatically on the start date.

Can we reuse or print homework?

Yes. Duplicate any homework to get a new draft with the same tasks, and print a homework worksheet from the web portal. Parents can print it too.
