Simple library management for schools

Classveew replaces the library register with a simple digital one. Keep your book catalogue, lend books to students, record returns and always know who has each book. Parents see what their child has borrowed in the app.

Staff manage the library on the web or in the teacher app. Parents follow it in the Classveew app on iOS and Android.

Lend and return books without the paper register

Classveew keeps lending simple: who took which book, and when it came back.

  • Pick the grade, class and student, then search for the book by its ID or title.
  • A book that is already out cannot be lent again until it comes back.
  • Mark a book returned in one click, on the web or in the teacher app.
  • Every book keeps its full history: who borrowed it, their class, and when it went out and came back.

The library essentials, in one place

The essentials of lending, for librarians, teachers and parents.

Book catalogue

Each book has a Book ID, title, author, genre and description. Search by ID or title, and mark books inactive.

Excel import

Upload your existing books from the Excel template. Rows that could not be added, such as duplicate IDs, are listed.

Lend in seconds

Choose the student and the book, and it is recorded. Books already on loan cannot be lent twice.

One-click returns

Mark a book returned and it is available again straight away, with the return date kept.

Who has what

The book list shows who has each book and their class, and every book has its borrowing history.

Teacher and parent app

Teachers lend and receive books in the app. Parents see their child's current and returned books.

Library questions

Who can lend and receive books?

Staff with library access. Admins and teachers have it by default, and you can give it to any other role, such as a librarian. Books are lent on the web portal or in the Classveew teacher app.

Can we import the books we already have?

Yes. Download the Excel template, fill in a row for each book and upload it. Classveew lists any rows it could not add, such as a Book ID that already exists.

Does Classveew track due dates and fines?

Not today. Classveew records who has each book and when it was lent and returned, but it does not set due dates, send overdue reminders or charge fines.

Can parents see what their child has borrowed?

Yes. In the Classveew app, parents see the books their child has now and the books they have returned, with the date each one came back.

How do we know a student has returned every book?

The Library tab on each student's profile lists their books on loan and returned, and shows the student as cleared when nothing is still out. Check it before a student graduates or leaves.
